COMMUNITY/REGIONAL PRAYER SUMMIT
HOSTING CHURCHES GUIDELINES
All host churches or ministries are required to have participation.
Participation by:
Pastor/Leader Praying, Intercessor
Praise/Worship, Choir
Ushers/Greeters
Hospitality
Congregants
Pastor/Leader Participation:
• Announce to the congregation about the upcoming summit.
• Share the current flyer for that summit.
• Allow a minimum of 2 praise/worship rehearsals with your people and the Community/Regional Prayer Summit Praise/Worship Team, and sound checks to take place before the summit.
• Meet with the Community/Regional Prayer Summit Coordinator to discuss participation and other needed meetings.
• Agree to be assigned a prayer assignment.
• Work with the local city officials to come and pray with us. (Ex. Mayor, States Attorney, Sheriff, School Superintendent, Hospital President, Coroner, etc...)
Praise/Worship, Choir, Dance, Musicians:
• Participate in a minimum of 2 rehearsals with the C/RPS Praise/Worship Team at the host church location.
• Meet with Pastor Jameson to discuss timing and music.
Ushers:
• Participate in a minimum of 1 usher training at the host church location with the C/RPS Head Usher.
• Discuss strategies of seating and crowd control before the summit.
Hospitality:
• Have a room set aside for the state intercessors who will be coming from the Capitol.
• State intercessors are responsible for their own refreshments.
• Host may provide water, handkerchiefs and anything else they choose.
Congregants:
• Participate by attending the Community/Regional Prayer Summit in your church.
• Agree in prayer with those who have come to pray their assignments.
• Support your Pastor and other leaders with your attendance.
• Note: An offering will be received FOR the Community/Regional Prayer Summit ministry to offset our expenses.
